RAG WEEK '98

Jump To the RAG WEEK 98 Page Jump To the Gossip & Scandal Page Well its that time of the year again when you can in one week, destroy your liver., place yourself in hundred of pounds of debt, and go behind in every subject on your course. But it has to be done !Rag week will run for the first week of March as is tradition in this college.

There's no doubt that after the tickets are sold out for the different events that we in the union will be cursed and, hated by those who lose out, well, let me assure you that we are working together as best we can to make sure this week is a success, and if you do lose out its because hundreds of students got there first, not because we're a pair of b!�"$%ds. (thats just a coincidence.)

The tickets are going to be issued using the same system as last year which is the best of a lot of ideas we've considered over the last few weeks. There will be raffle tickets issued in the NTC on WED FEBRUARY 25 AT 9.OOA.M-and you can buy your tickets in the SU shop at the time allotted to your tickets.(i.e.tickets 1 to 50 between 9.30 and 10.30 etc.) This system is to avoid chaos at the shop . Unfortunately things are going to be unavoidably hectic so the following rules must be followed to make life a little bit easier for everyone as everyone will know where they stand.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE.

All students must supply the official ID card of this, college when tickets are being issued. Any student without a card will not be given tickets and this will be strictly enforced. No exceptions made. There will only be one ticket pet event per student allocated.

This is to ensure that every student has the chance of getting tickets. It is also to stop those who are not students or undesirables getting there hands on tickets. We are not that naive to think that there will only be students of this college at the events but we feel it is only fair to you that you have the best opportunity of going to the events.
